About Me
Hi, I am an assistant professor at Korea Military Academy, located in Seoul, South Korea. I am broadly interested in survey sampling and missing data analysis, and in developing statistical foundations for modern Artificial Intelligence. I received my PhD from the Department of Statistics, Iowa State University in 2024. My dissertation advisor is Professor Jae-Kwang Kim. I am also a research associate at AI Research and Development Center, Korea Military Academy.
My research focuses on developing rigorous and practical statistical methods for complex survey data and missing data problems, with growing applications to AI and machine learning. Specifically, my work centers on a few key areas:
(1) Calibration weighting, generalized entropy methods, and debiased estimation for survey sampling and missing data;
(2) Transfer learning and calibration-based inference under distributional shift;
(3) High-dimensional variable selection and AI-driven data analysis.
